“Design Symbiosis” is CIFF Guangzhou’s cross-provincial design exchange programme, run with NetEase Home & Design. Launched in 2021 as a city-to-city visiting programme, it now spans more than twenty Chinese cities. On 18 March 2026, during the 57th CIFF Guangzhou, the programme returned to the Canton Fair Complex in Pazhou with talks from Liaoning, Chongqing, Fujian and Zhejiang, and the release of the 2026 China Home Design Trend Report, built on 1,500 responses from designers in 23 provinces. The day closed with the “Design Has Light” honours ceremony.
