IN BRIEF
The Italian Design Alliance (IDA) is an international non-profit association legally registered in Bari, Italy, in 2026 — a multidisciplinary collective of Italian-trained designers working across the globe.
It builds upon years of prior joint collaboration work among its founding designers community, with cross-border industry exchange activities dating back to 2019. It brings together Italian trained urban planners, licensed architects, interior, product, graphic and fashion designers working across the globe.
IDA promotes the Italian Design System worldwide by creating collaborative synergies with industries, academies and public cultural institutions across regions. As a multidisciplinary collective platform, it showcases both Italy’s creative heritage and forward-looking contemporary design innovation, builds cross-border bridges between local stakeholders and Italian design professionals globally, and advocates for high professional standards, design intellectual property protection and responsible, human centred design.
