On 10 October 2020 Freddy Curiel and Danilo Trevisan, accompanied by the architect Debora Campana, joined the prestigious China Italy Ceramic Design Award as members of the jury that awarded several of the best tiles produced for 2021. On the first day the trio was invited to visit companies to evaluate products and materials of the new tile generation. On the morning of the second day the Italian delegation joined a local team of ceramic experts and designers for the evaluation of the competing products and, after thorough review and discussion, delivered the final rating and results. In the afternoon they attended the awarding ceremony where, after a speech on design quality and the general market situation, they handed prizes and recognitions to the winners.
