Despite the difficulties posed by the pandemic, on 23 July 2020 a wide delegation of Italian designers joined the second largest ceramic fair in the world, the Uniceramics Expo. The expo has the unique characteristic of collecting ceramic product manufacturers, ceramic designers and ceramic industrial machine manufacturers all under the same roof. IDA was present with an information booth, and its members promoted design exchange through interviews with specialised media and seminars. On 25 July Danilo Trevisan attended the seminar BRICK-ISM, on the links between art and ceramic production, explaining how at that particular historical moment Foshan had a unique opportunity to develop its artistic school as an avantgarde of design and production of goods.
